For the last few months I’ve been knitting small soft toys for a local charity called Whizzknits. It provides these toys to our three local hospitals for children to have after blood tests, other procedures or hospital stays. They also knit items for school projects and raffles etc.for our local hospice. I like making small things as I don’t get bored. I ‘m just not so keen on sewing up some of the more fiddly items!

Clover, Just been to physio, she has told me that she has a client who is looking for another charity to knit for after being told that the needy young mums have said they don’t want the hand knitted items! I will pass your info on. 😁Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Sadly not many new mums want knitted toys or hand knitted clothes , it’s not the trend at the moment .
Little ones would love to cuddle something like that I’m sure , something nice and squishy but parents today think little ones have to have all singing bells and whistles new toys made of plastic .Im not fat just 6ft too small
