    Colouring Books

Has anyone taken up the new hobby of adults colouring books ? There is a topic on our local radio station about it , it claims it is relaxing. I should by some for OH perhaps !

I have always loved colouring books I can get lost in them many a time the boys and myself have sat ages at the table colouring , OH said it was the only time we were all quiet , my Brother is 67 and he buys them says it helps his blood pressure as its calming and he can empty his mind , We all debate if he has one to calm mind you

I love colouring books. I have many different books and spend hours sitting colouring. It is very relaxing and makes me feel happy. I have my own set of pencils and woe betide anyone who touches them. My GDers also like to colour and we all spend hours together colouring our books. Very therapeutic. Recommended.

I have heard a lot about adult colouring books recently. Not heard one negative comment. Youngest granddaughter is 12 now, but we still do colouring together.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I think I am missing something here, I do like colouring but haven't done any since the GC were small and that is a long time

Yes, I love them. I enjoy painting but colouring in is just so relaxing, you don't have to think about composition, drawing etc, just colour away

Took some of these along to a gynaecology cancer meeting and everyone seemed to enjoy switching off for a bit.
