I got it by just putting the letters in randomly until they said it was the word! It's not a word I have ever used or heard used. I looks like a word a young child learning about language would use.
    But then Wordle is American

I got it in 5 as well, but it was the second "non-word" the game had accepted today!

          Is everyone still doing this?

I do Wordle, Quordle and three types of Octordle (Daily, Sequence, Rescue) almost every day.

Today I got Wordle in 2, a very rare occurrence!

Only do it occasionally when I remember now, I will give it another go today now that you have reminded me 😁

I still do Wordle, just the basic one, and average 3 or 4, but love it when I get an occasional 2, hate it when it takes 5 and have been lucky enough to avoid bombing out completely just lately.

I also do Spelling Bee but haven't taken out a subscription for it yet, so I get cut off after a while!

Does anyone have a standard 'starting word' for Wordle? I always use the same word.

Daisy my number of guesses which is the highest is 4.
My personal challenge is to keep the number of guesses in 3 above the number of guesses in 5 ! The 3 goes is leading by 18 times

I used to use Adieu or audio.
Then I read that LEAST was good starting word and I use that for them all.

I've tried several. At the moment I use STAIR, and then I try to incorporate other commonly-recurring consonants in the second go, and use O or U - or both if possible.

I sometimes use CHOIR for my second guess, especially on Quordle and Octordle where you get more guesses.

I use Audio as it has 4 vowels as a first word 😁

I ran out of guesses on Wordle today.
I have never heard of the word!

Oh Gem, that's really annoying. Is it the first time it's happened to you? I haven't done today's yet, but yesterday's was a pretty obscure word - Latin rather than English.

No I think it has happened before Daisy.
