    Future Learn

I’ve done a few courses before with Future Learn so decided to have another look and see what else was on offer.

This is an online learning site running courses in all sorts of different subjects ranging from history, literature, social history, mental, health issues etc etc.
Its all free unless you want to take it further and pay for more intense learning and get a certificate but I just do it for my own pleasure. All the courses are run by different universities worldwide.

Previously I have learnt about Life in the Times ofRichard the third, the Excavation of an ancient city in Italy, learnt about Ancient Rome. I am halfway through a Genealogy course and just signed up for Recreational Maths and Stone Age Archeology. The Maths sounds interesting ; I’m really no good at maths but this looks at solving puzzles using what they call “magical maths “, I love puzzles so will see how I get on. Looking forward to the Stone Age course too, I found all that so fascinating.

You work at your own pace and the courses are quite short so it’s up to you how long you spend on them. no qualifications needed and open to anyone, P enjoyed the course he did in Photo editing.

Hope you Find this interesting, something different to do.

Enfys - I've got another friend who has done several Future Learn courses and she says exactly the same and thoroughly enjoys them.

They sound a great idea - thanks for sharing the link. xx

I’ve done one or two. The best was one was a geology called, I think, the rocks in your pocket.
You’ve reminded me to take another look. Thank you.

Sum1 - the friend I mentioned earlier in the thread did the Geology one as well, and she enjoyed it.
