Elisi - I'm a member of the RHS and I love visiting Wisley (our nearest RHS garden), and reduced or free entrance to a lot of other gardens. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful if you have a query and if I'm undecided about a variety of plant to choose I always look for their AGM badge. I always think membership is a lovely gift to give a keen gardener.

We are RHS members, doesn't cost a lot per year and occasionally on a Sunday morning we drive along the M25, veer off and drop into Wisley. Made the mistake once of having lunch in their restaurant. Needed to take out a second mortgage!!!! Still the gardens are a nice place to wander.If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go togetherComment

A couple of years ago they did a fantastic project on composting. OH had to drag me away! How sad is that!!!
