You could almost feel sorry for them today ...

Who? Avid sports fans - F1, Wimbledon Men's Finals and Cricket One Day World Cup final all in one day!

OH watched the beginning and the end of the F1, and has been switching between the cricket and the tennis for the last half hour! He managed to catch the last ball/wicket of the cricket, which made it a tie, quickly back to tennis to see Djokovic make the winning point, then immediately back to the cricket to watch the super over to decide the tie!

I don't think we'll be walking Eva until that's finished!

We haven't watched any of the sport. Hubby used to like the tennis, but he hasn't watched for about 3 years.
As for me,not bothered about watching any sport at all.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gednerally I find sport slightly less interesting than watching paint dry, but I do quite enjoy 20/20 and one day cricket - haven't got the patience or understanding to watch test cricket. Today's World Cup suddenly became very exciting when it was so close, and I was pleased England won!

I watched the tennis, sounds like the cricket was very exciting so my 90 year old sister tells me, can't stand motor racing.

Oh, the choices on one day for sports lovers!

As you know I don't watch any, OH likes to watch most.
I don't mind tennis, that is the most positive thing I can say about TV sports

Gem - I agree - 'don't mind' is the best I can say usually, but occasionally I have been nailed to the spot in front of the tv for a very exciting 20/20 cricket match! I could hardly bear to watch the super over yesterday.

Living on my own I don’t have to watch sport if I don’t want to, but yesterday I was at my sisters and her hubby is an avid sports fan so the tv was on all afternoon. So I saw bits of the tennis. It was ok.

My friend M is an avid sports fan and she's just been round for a coffee. She could hardly wait to chat to OH about the tennis and the cricket!

I made the mistake of hosting a lunch yesterday! We had Wimbledon on in one room and cricket in the adjoining room where we ate. It actually worked very well. All old friends so everyone was happy to dip in and out, and I learned a bit about cricket too!
