    scrapbook Remembrance

Following on from Daisy’s thread about Armistice Day, I thought you might like to see the page I made in my Family scrapbook about my great uncle Frank. I didn’t know he existed until a couple of years ago and he needed to be remembered. Sadly he was killed in action in October 1917 at Flanders. I now need to add the certificate I will download from the war graves commission site.

Enfys - that is beautiful, and a lovely memorial of a brave man for future generations.

I have never thought about making a family scrapbook, but it's a great idea. Would you mind explaining how you got it started and give me some tips - perhaps on a new thread, rather than go off topic on this very special thread.x
