Men's Sheds

Someone mentioned Men's Sheds on a recent thread - Enfys? Sorry I can't find the post.

It's a growing organisation set up to help men's health and well being through just being together and sharing activities. The charity would like to become more widespread. I only know about the organisation because OH knew someone involved with one of the very early ones.

It sounds a little bit like knit and natter groups, but with a wider range of activities. I think they're a great idea as so many men reach retirement and don't know what to do with themselves.

It sounds a very good idea, as men seem to have less groups to join, or maybe they just join less generally!
