    Magazines

Do you buy Magazines regularly ?
The only one I buy every week is The Peoples Friend I have read this one for years ,
I never buy other mags as im not interested in celeb gossip or soaps and that seems to be all that's on the covers of most of them.
I do buy Puzzle books and Cross word books regularly though
Some mags are so expensive the ones in waiting rooms I have seen are at least 50% adverts
Im not fat just 6ft too small

I don't buy any magazines regularly.
For many years I had She magazine on subscription, until one day IIfound several still in the plastic, I obviously wasn't reading them any more, so I cancelled the subscription!

I have Good Housekeeping on subscription - it's a regular gift from a friend. I also get The Garden mag as a member of the RHS.

Oma - I bought a People's Friend when I went shopping last week. It was a Special and was full of good short stories. I like the little Crosswords books by Take a Break or Puzzler, too.

I buy magazines every week, but i don't buy the ones full of celebrity gossip
My 3 favourites are Take a Break,Chat and Pick Me Up.
Had quite a few wins over the years, and had several photos in the magazines.
I always take some when we go on holiday, and leave them for others when i have read them.
It's surprising how quick they get snapped up by other holidaymakers.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I don't buy any magazines, I do buy the Radio Times, there are quite a lot of articles and puzzles in there. Don't recognise the mags. you mentioned Nanto, must have a look for them.

I used to have the Good Housekeeping magazine but I found it contained more adds and photos than actual topics to read. I have brought Yours and Woman's Weekly occasionally and I think they are better value for money . Whatever floats your boat I suppose

Nanto - that's a good idea. I always feel guilty throwing magazines away, but it's not easy to give them away these days.

I like to have a magazine subscription. Had Prima for years, then had Good Houskeeping Woman and Home, which I really enjoyed. Now I have Country Living, very nice but a bit huntin’, shootin’ and fishin’ but lovely photographs. I’ll cancel it soon as the year is almost up and think about getting another one. It’s something DH gets me every year for Christmas.

My subscription is a present for that time of the year as well, Enfys. I do enjoy the mag just plopping on to the mat every month, although I get a bit frustrated that the latest one which arrived yesterday is for October!

Mine did too, Daisy. I know, it makes the months go too quickly.
