    Jaw probs

I'm sure I've said about this somewhere on GRU but I just can't find it. I was eating out at a steak place enjoying my steak when my jaw popped last week.

The update of this is that I went to the dentist this morning & the disc between my jaw bones has come out of place. I have another app't for Friday. The disc has displaced in between the ball & socket joint in my jaw. I'm having a lower soft bite splint made. He's asked for it to be done urgently so I can get it when I go. I'm on a private patient plan & it's cost me £99 as opposed to £180ish. I might have to review going Private when OH finishes work, but until then it's been worth it.

The more I think about it the more I'm certain I've told you how it happened but not about today. Was it you Daisy that said your husband had to have surgery? Also joked saying 'clicky' jaws might be because we talk too much. 🤣

      Ouch Nana!
I have a clicky jaw, but mine is the legacy of an abscess associated with a bout of tonsillitis years ago. It can still be painful at times, but not much now.

Nana - I'm glad it can be treated quickly.

It was me who mentioned my DIL2 having problems related to her jaw which also affected her migraines and she had a small operation in hospital which eased the problem a lot.

Funny thing was Plant, that I was talking to the dental nurse while we waited for the dentist. It turns out her partner's mum owns the restaurant. I said I couldn't sue as the steak was so tender, delicious.😂
