our DD has just told me that she has been recalled after her recent breast screening. I have tried to reassure her that it might all be ok and she is not too worried at the moment, but I know she will be on the day. The thing we are holding on to is the fact that when she was having it done she was told she kept moving and they had to redo it a few times. So hopefully it's because the pictures aren't clear. However, I know that if it does turn out to be 'something' it will be dealt with promptly. Positives vibes for her on Tuesday would be much appreciated 🤞🙂

Enfys, hope it is just the pictures that aren't clear.
i was recalled after my very first mammogram. After all the tests and ultrasound, doctor was convinced it was just calcium, from when i had milk
when the kids were born.Never missed a mammogram, and never had another problem since.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

This happens a lot Enfys,as others have said. It happened to a friend of mine only a few weeks ago, and all was well. 9 times out of 10 it is a fault on the film, or something minor. I truly hope this is the case for your DD. As you wisely say, if not, it has been caught really early.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Thanks Gem. The same thing happened to me a few years ago, a blurry picture but all was ok. She's ok at the moment, just wants to get it over with. Our breast care unit here is very good, very caring so she will be in good hands.
