    Finger

Just came back from seeing Orthopedic surgeon at our local drop in ( ideal as its just across the road from us ) better than going to the hospital
Anyway he's going to operate and replace my finger joint , said the Joint has gone completely no Cartlidge bone rubbing on bone and bits of bone floating , said cant rescue it so this is only way to stop the pain .
Its a 2-3 month waiting list but if they get a cancelation he will fit me in , be out of action for 6-8 weeks with a splint on , they will numb my arm from the arm pit down so if all goes to plan just a day case , that's good for me
Cant wait to get rid of this constant toothache like pain

Ouch Oma sounds a painful job but as you say will be worth it, a bit of a wait but time will pass would you like me to come and do your cleaning whilst you are in a splint, we can't fault the NHS can we !

Oma I am seriously worried about you, how on earth are you going to do your housework when you will be out of action for that long 😆😉

Joking apart it will be a relief to get it over and done with, is the pain stopping you from having a restful nights sleep, perhaps your sleep pattern might improve after your op .
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I do wish that someone would sort out the discomfort in my shoulder joint I seem to be getting nowhere,I don't go back until November when they may make a decision, not too long to wait Oma the weeks will soon pass and you may get called in as a cancellation.

To be honest if he had said we will chop it off I would have said fine go ahead , its the constant toothache type pain that never settles,
Like all pain its worse during the night Why is that always the case ?
Never mind it will get sorted even if it doesn't take all the pain away It has to be better than this , said it may be limited movement well I don't have any movement now so that's no big deal

Oma - it will be great to get rid of that constant pain. Like everyone else, I'm worried about your Bleach Babe credentials. I hope it's not an index finger - you'll need that to point to all the cobwebs and specks of dust so Brian can sort them out.

Seriously, I hope you will get a cancellation and get it over and done with.

Glamm - you have put up with so much pain with that shoulder joint. I hope when you finally get your appointment they can do something about it.

Oma you sound so brave. I couldn't have it done while I was awake, no matter how numb it was!!

I'm really good with this kind of stuff it doesn't worry me at all , my sister is very squeamish and scared to the point that she won't talk about anything to do with op or blood 😊
