      That's a relief, I talk to myself but I don't answer back

If OH is at home when I am talking to myself I often pretend I am talking to the cat

The best thing is I don't answer back! 😆

I often talk to myself and like Gem I sometimes talk to the cat . When say talk to the cat what I really mean is I have talked to my pair of boots that were stood in a dark corner in the hall . I mistakenly thought it was our cat sat there ! (Should have gone to specsavers )

That's really interesting, especially the bit about hearing something helps to order your thoughts, even if it is your own voice you're hearing.

I talk to the dog, even if she's not in the same room!!! She's a very good listener!!

Mimi - that made me laugh out loud.
