I have my appointment at 8-30 on Monday 15th for my nerve conduct test. It's going to be an early morning trip. Was going to catch the bus, which would have taken about an hour as I need to get 2. But my neighbor that lives a couple of doors up works at the hospital and is starting work at 7-45 so I'm getting a lift off of her.

Good luck with your appointment NC. I also have an appointment tomorrow, I had forgotten all about it but I have been sent 2 texts reminding me. Thank goodness for modern technology.😃Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

OH is at an appointment now, at the audiology department. I'm hoping they will prescribe a hearing aid. Between her and my mum ( -who has hearing aids but won't wear them) I am sick of SHOUTING!!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

What did you say Gem?😆😆 Isn't it annoying, especially when the deaf person won't admit to being so.🙄 I am now discharged and I hope you don't have to wait too long, NC.Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.

Lovely to hear you have been discharged. Mine seem to been going on forever. First went to the hospital for it in July 2013 when they did physio and steroid injection, 1st operation on it April 2014, 2nd operation November 2015 and with a bit of luck get discharge by the end of 2016. But I'm not holding my breath on that happening.Originally posted by Grauntie Mag View PostWhat did you say Gem?😆😆 Isn't it annoying, especially when the deaf person won't admit to being so.🙄 I am now discharged and I hope you don't have to wait too long, NC.

I'm still back & forth to out patients with the problems caused by my broken shoulder from last June 2015 nothing is improving at all and now have to wait until February 2017 to see if growth to the area improves at all,my specialist says he thinks I am too young for a replacement joint ??? I'm 66 so how old do you have to be for goodness sake and if and when the replacement goes ahead there will be the pain and discomfort to go through all over again,to make matters worse the Insurance Company acting for the Local Council has dismissed my claim for injuries as the dip in the pavement was not more than 20mm.Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

I have to have Xrays tomorrow for my hip and knee
, and I am on the waiting list for Carpal tunnel surgery . Has anyone had this done recently ? I remember years ago it involved weeks of splints, bandages and hand out of action for ages . GP tells me I will be able to use my hands after 2 days ?
