I hate taking tablets, but if BP tablets and Satins keep me safe (or safer) from heart attacks and strokes, I'll gobble them up. We're so lucky to be living in an age when there is such good preventative medication available. So Enfys, your'e doing all the right things, and I'm sure you will feel better even if your cholesterol levels need a bit of help.

Yesterday, we had coffee and lunch with a group of ex-colleagues of OH's and were sad to learn that one of the group had had a severe stroke a few months ago which had left him very incapacitated. I couldn't help but wonder if it could have been prevented.

Back to docs this morning for another bp,check up. It has come down over the last couple of weeks so he was happy to leave things as they are for the moment. He said all the extra walking we have been doing would have helped so that has spurred me on to carry on.

Now I have a throbbing tooth...so to dentists in the morning . I don't know, if it's not one thing it's the other!

Thanks for asking Gem. Hope you're having a great holiday. Went to dentist and I have an abcess, she gave me anti biotics and it's feeling much better
