Hi Qwerty, I was reading a magazine a couple of days ago, and there was an article about a lady who suffered from a cough for the same reasons as you. She is better now,it did involve an operation, but she is pleased she had it done.
I would be more than happy to send it to you,if you were interested in reading it.

Nan2. For some reason I've only just seen this. I've been plagued by a cough which goes for about a week then returns. I've had blood tests, chest Xrays, anti bio's, steroids, inhalers & referral to the Respiratory Clinic. The latter where I saw a 'specialist' who told me that women who cough a lot live longer'. (I posted this on another thread somewhere). It's not caused by reflux as I have meds for that already. When I saw the practice nurse I started coughing & she said that it sounded as though I was coughing my lungs up. To tell you the truth that's how it feels.

Was the article in a magazine did you say? If so, which one? I might be able to get a copy. I wonder if it helped Qwerty as she has had a really pesky cough for a long while.

My cough settled for a couple of weeks about 6 wks ago but then I got flu and it came back but it's been 5dys again since I stopped coughing but too early to say it's gone, now I have written this watch it come back then I will blame you 😀
