    Covid

I have managed to to the far in the life of COVID without ever testing positive. 3 days ago my husband had symptoms so he tested. He laid up in bed (man Flu) so I decided to test even though I don’t have a single symptom and it came up as positive.

NC you have done well to avoid it so far

My OH and I have both had it only once.

Mine was like a moderate cold, OH was quite poorly. My mum had it twice, in her 90's and no symptoms either time despite testing positive.

    It's so variable.

You have been lucky NC to go this long,
I have had it twice first time really bad I ended up with long COVID for a year,
Second one although not nice wasn't as bad.
B was poorly with it first he was layed up for about 10 days.

My DD had it and only knew when SIL got it and she tested , she had no symptoms at all.

MIL has never had it .

I often wonder sometimes if you get a positive test but have no symptoms could it be a false positive?

My DD and I have had it twice, not bad enough to put us in bed.

I’m still testing positive but still no symptoms at all. Other half was laid up for a couple of days, he’s also still testing positive.

Nannycuddles, thank goodness you're feeling ok. I hope both you and your OH are soon negative.

NC, that sounds like a long time, especially with no symptoms.

Very strange Nanny Cuddles. I think I would just ignore the result now.

I remember when Covid was rife them saying after a certain number of days the positive result was to be ignored.

I wouldn't bother to continue to test unless you want to NC .

I tested positive for about 10 days I remember.
We don't bother now , we stay in and avoid people if we have colds anyway.
