Sometimes I think our surgery don’t talk to each other.
I had a appointment for 2pm for Bloods
Got there checked in on the iPad on the wall , it said the nurse was running 26 minutes late.
Fair enough but there was only 3 of us in reception .
Anyway 30 minutes later it was my turn , got into her office she looked on computer and said who made the appointment ?
I said receptionist rang on Friday to arrange it ,
She said I’m so sorry your not booked in till the 29th of April 😳
Its to check my Colesterol , I only had it done a few weeks ago when I saw the Diabetic nurse so not due again till April.
This isn’t the first time this has happened,
I once last year sat almost a hour only for the receptionist to come out and tell me the Nurse wasn’t in that day despite the machine on the wall letting me book in ,
And also having a reminder text the night before.
The nurse apologised but it wasn’t her fault she didn’t make the appointment.
Just as well I wasn’t taking time off work for this 🙄
