As I mentioned in Chat I had a reasonable night. Once I got some morphine I was more comfortable.
I had to call them every couple of hours to help me onto the commode. That's a good thing though as it's important to get everything functioning well after the epidural.
I'm laced with a strong painkiller this morning ready for the physio
On an amusing note.......
Yesterday OH messaged the family WhatsApp group to say I was out of surgery and all well.
She said I had passed all my post op checks and was back in my room.
SIL2 told us the only part of the message which popped up on his screen before he opened it was '.Just to let you know your mum has passed '
SIL said he was relieved to discover I was in fact still alive
