Found out the Problem at Last.

After speaking to my Doctor and going for a blood test I got a phone call from him to say I have an under active thyroid which explains all the miserable symtoms I have been experiencing (apart from loosing John) I can now go forward and speak to the nurse and get my diet changed and receive the correct medication to help with the problem.

Glamm - I'm so pleased they've found out what the problem is. You've had to cope with so much - loosing John suddenly and the continuing pain in your shoulder. Hopefully this will make everything a bit easier. xxx

Hubby was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid 14 years ago.
He takes thyroxine every day, and never had a problem.

So glad you have had a diagnosis. I have hypothyroidism and this can be sorted with hormones. Being under active can make you feel rotten and even depressed. Thyroid UK is great for info and support. X

Fairyqueen - it's good to have 'inside' information like that. I'm sure there are times when you need the support of people in a similar situation as well as the experts.
