    Cellulitis back with a vengence.

Last month my left leg was affected from behind the knee to my foot, all red and swollen and very sore and hot to the touch,Dr gave me some antibotics and I had to have 2 x courses after 2 plus weeks things settled down and cleared up,imagine my dispare when it flared up again on my right leg this last Thursday so here I am again with prescription again and hoping it will begin to settle down again,I just don't understand what causes it I am at a loss Dr says I may have had a cut on my leg and it has got infected but I can't remember doing anything like that, what a miserable week I have instore for myself once again I just don't feel fit at all these past weeks.

Ouch Glam I know Cellulitis is very painful , my friend has had it several times origin unknown and she is miserable with it till the antibiotics kick in .
When she first got it the Dr thought she had a DVT . She said she would have preferred that as it would have been treated immediately, where Cellulitis takes time
Antibiotics also give her cystitis so she gets a double whammy

I do hope you start to feel better soon Xxx

That is very bad, my sister has had that Glam. I hope this lot of AB clear it up. So sorry you are not feeling well. ABs may be causing you to feel unwell.

Glamm, that sounds horrible and very uncomfortable. Do you need to rest and put your feet up?

Have you tried taking live yoghurt (or kefir, I think) to help your tummy. Pre and probiotics help to put back the good bacteria killed indiscriminately by the anti biopics.

Sending hugs. Feel better soon. Xxx

Glamm, how painful! I hope the antibiotics soon do their work. Try the advice from Daisy, Kefir, I love it, I don't know if it helps my body but I take it.
