    I think dementia is the thing I dread most as I get older.
    So, here’s a piece of research which is quite encouraging.
    Get moving.

    Interesting Sum1Ls, I can't walk far anymore, unlike you and your OH but I try to keep active with my bowls and aqua, probably could do better.

        Plant, you do amazingly well. You must keep moving a lot at home as you live independently, and with your aqua, bowls and generally getting out and about, you are an example to some of us younger ones

          Sum1 - thank you for the link. That makes interesting reading.

          It's quite heartening to think that although activity doesn't improve or hold back dementia diseases it does help the brain to cope with the changes.
