    Rhinitis

Hi ladies just back from the doctors and I have chronic rhinitis allegedly ,brought on by a viral infection no antibiotics
I have had a cold now it’s stuck in my head , I had a nosebleed today which is very rare only had about 3 in my life, got a nasal spray, and some antihistamines told to rest and drink plenty which is what I’ve been doing , it’s a miserable thing quite painful 😖 so onwards and upwards

Qwerty - I'm glad you haven't had to have antibiotics, but it would be better if there was a treatment for the Rhinitis. Perhaps it's your body saying slow down, rest more, look after yourself better etc. I hope the spray and antihistamines help. Sending hugs. xxx

Oh dear, Qwerty. I've never heard of it before. Presuming it might be something connected to the sinuses? Whatever it is I hope you're better soon.💕

Nana - my mother had chronic rhinitis - basically year-round hayfever. For her it was more of a nuisance than anything, but she never wanted to be far from a hankie or tissue! But it sounds as though poor Qwerty's has happened because of the viral infection. My mum's was triggered by things like perfume, changes in air temperature etc.

I think rhinitis means inflammation of the nose (any itis means inflammation of)
I have heard of allergic rhinitis, which is what Daisy's mother suffered from.
Poor Qwerty's sounds like one of those things which will go in it's own time. I hope that is sooner rather than later!

Hoping that Qwerty is feeling less 'bunged up' today and that the treatment is working. Take care Qwerty! Maybe your body is trying to tell you something ( as the old folks used to say!).
