Well this morning I went for three small fillings and ended up with 5

He was busy numbing my gums up when he decided two other fillings looked like they could do with some work , so I ended up with so much stuff numbing my face I looked like the Elephant mans Sister when I came out

The top molar tooth on my right side is root filled so no need to numb , but the other 4 on my left all had to be ,
He was very gentle but I still feel bruised my eye is still a bit closed and I cant feel my nose yet so no idea if its running or not
Even my ear is numb ,

After we went to MIL's and she had to find a straw for me to have a drink as I couldn't feel my lips and when I tried to drink it dribbled out of my mouth again hahaha

Saved me money though as if I had had to go back again for them two it would have been another appointment , this way it was all covered on the same one

Its wearing off I feel a bit sore so taken some pain killers and its easing ,
I must say he was as gentle as he could be pulling my mouth around , and I don't mind going to the dentist so doesn't freak me out

Just had a cup of tea and managed not to dribble

B went to Dental Hospital yesterday for a filling his appointment was for 2pm , came home and the filling had fallen out again by 5pm

Poor Oma, I hate that numb feeling. Good idea to take painkillers, it's bound to be sore after a few fillings.

Well done you! I laughed with my girls (when they were small) that when you could say fish fingers after a dentist's injection you knew it was wearing off. We laughed at phifth pfthingerths...still do.

Thanks Mimi we both fine although the hospital rang yesterday to say he has to drink more fluid as his bloods showed he was a bit dehydrated
