    Well it official...

That my Husband is a idiot and a liability

We decided on a new stair carpet but were waiting for the bad weather to pass before we get it down ,
Last night SIL called to pick GS1 up and I said I will have to paint the skirting up the sides once the old carpet is up ,so SIL said when I pick J up on Friday I will cut a strip out all up the stairs and around the landing so you can get it painted but don't need to take all the carpet up till I fit the new one ,

Well I'm washing the dishes and Him who must be obeyed went missing '
Next thing I know he comes into the kitchen holding his hand .

Only gone and slashed two fingers with the Stanley knife ,
He had decided to cut it out himself .

Blood everywhere running down his arm his jumper covered with it .
Stuck his hand under the tap to wash any dirt out while I got the first aid box out .

Once washed although they are quite deep they are clean cuts and not as bad as they first looked ,
So playing nurse'y I washed them with a antiseptic solution I have from the hospital Its like a pink solution we get when he has injections to sterilise the site ,
Then covered them with dressings ,
Blood stopped pretty quickly but I then had to wash his jumper out and clear away the mess he made on the stairs .

Honestly that man keeps me on my toes , I dread to think what he will do next

Oh dear Oma.Another accident for B.
I think you should tie him down, he's not safe to be let loose.
Hope his fingers get better soon.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well that's one way to get out of the washing up! Hope the cuts aren't too serious!

I'd lock away the tool box if I were you Oma!

Ladies I have never known a man so accident prone . I dread when he goes into the shed he has all kinds of nasty power tools ,
He just comes in and goes OOOOPS and grins

Oh dear, Oma. I don't know what you're going to do with him, but it should be in a safely padded room with no sharp objects. Seriously, I hope the cuts aren't too bad and heal up quickly. xx

Dear oh dear, Oma, what about a giant playpen!

P decided to go up a ladder outside today, nearly had a fit when I saw him!! Honestly, sometimes it’s like having a two year old 😏

You ladies must do something to keep your men under control
Like children if they’re quiet you must investigate immediately.

Clover your right , if he's quiet and not in the room I will be finding out what he's up too
Enfys the trouble is they start to feel well and think they can do anything

Enfys - I was going to say hide the ladder, but then he might try scaling the drainpipe or something. I know it's great that he's feeling so much better, but you must be worrying whenever he's out of sight, wondering what he's up to.

Oma - As Clover says - if he's quiet check up on him!

Never had chocolate for a long time so this was a real treat
