    Shopping around

On Wednesday I went to B & Q as I wanted some tall planters to put a conifer in each side of my patio doors ,
They had the black rattan effect ones in for £24 each £ 48 in total , received a email from Aldi today same ones £14.99 each £29.98 fot two and better as Aldi ones have a steel frame inside and a liner , free delivery too so I've ordered two of those and the B&Q ones are going back tomorrow . So pleased I hadn't filled the B&Q ones yet 😀

Wow that is a saving, I don't think B&Q goods are very cheap now, too much competition.

I've just had a look at them on the website, they are similar to mine that I brought from Argos at a much greater price 😭.
Ive now signed up to receive offers they have . Hopefully I will pick out a bargain just like you have Oma.

Thats a good bargain Oma, especially when you think they are better than the B&Q ones.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

What a bargain, Oma. I'm sure they will look lovely, too.

(Errrr...... what will Storm think of them? )

I didn't realise Aldi had a website so will be keeping an eye on it from now on.
You 've got a bargain there Oma.

Nice buy Oma we had two square concrete planters low ones we had 2 box trees in them one either side of the front door had them years but they were looking tired, we carried them to the car heavey but managed and often moved them to sweep behind as leaves collect there, anyway emptied them and we couldn't shift the darn things had to get one of the lads to put them round the back now I know we are getting old our strength is rapidly diminishing

Same hear Qwerty , I can't lift or move things like I used too , it's so frustrating . In your mind you can still do it but come to doing the job and you just can't shift them , Concrete tubs are heavy to start with 😲 😀
