Well been to Ikea didn't get what I went for apart from napkins but I did buy a glass Tea pot with a strainer where you put loose tea in the middle ,
Took packing off and glanced at the instructions it said
"Tea pot should not be exposed to great variations of temperature , therefore never pour hot water into tea pot taken directly from a FREEZER "
Who the devil keeps there tea pot in a Freezer ??????
I also bought a pizza cutter and that had on
"Remove from packaging before use "

How on earth have we all managed to get to the 'age' we are without killing our selves in the process.??
I don't remember having so many warnings signs on products I brought years ago.
My favourite is the packing on scissors. They come wrapped in a hard plastic case , the instructions are....Open carefully with scissors.......if I had a pair of scissors I wouldn't have brought these !!

Hahaha - it's crazy. Oma - perhaps there's a method of making tea we didn't know about!! I am, though, totally envious of your pizza cutter - I keep promising myself to get one, and then never think about it when I'm out shopping.

Mimi - I had exactly that message on a pair of new scissors a couple of weeks ago. But the packaging was so tough I was tempted to ask OH to get his chain saw out!

I think most packaging is excessive, wasteful and environmentally bad. When things were bought over a counter in a shop there was no need for it.
