    Bottles of bleach.

I have been trying to open a bottle of bleach most of the morning.
Hubby usually opens them for me,but he isn't in.
I can open the Domestos bottles, but the ones i have at the moment are Asda bottles.
When hubby opens them, i don't screw the top fully on. I would rather pay more for Domestos that i can open.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto, I sympathise. I hate bottles and other packaging that defies use by womankind!

My SIL actually bought a gadget to help her to open her preferred brand of toilet cleaner. I would have just changed brands,a d in fact avoid that particular brand because it's such a pain to open! 😬

I have the same trouble , I did once when B wasn't home actually drill a hole in the top so I could squeeze the bleach out through that , it's bad enough with normal fingers but when you get older and you are not so strong or your arthritic it's impossible ,
I know it's child safety now but it's ridiculous children can open them better than adults anyway

The thing I have real problems with are those wretched blister packs, usually protecting some product tha would stand up to a sledgehammer anyway. I always end up with cut fingers and a lot of muttered naughty words.

On the subject of annoying packaging, did anyone else have a box of Roses for Christmas? All new packaging and wrappers, so no clue as to which chocolate was which. And where's the 'key' so you don't end up this toffee when you want orange cream? On the BOTTOM of the box. Oh and the box lid is one of those irritating peel off things that takes a finger nail with it each time. 😡😡😡

Daisy I open blister packs with a tin opener just run it around the edge it's like opening a tin ,
I can never get into battery packs end up with bits of the cardboard backing all over and still have to dig them out with a knife,
Didn't buy any Roses this year I liked it when they had the chocolate choice on the inside of the lid and in a tin not the boxes with the peel off lids ,
Another bug bear is that fiddly little plastic seal on milk when you take the cap off I'm sure sometimes it's super glued on
Are we getting old and grumpy do you think 😁😁😁😁😁😁

I so agree about the Roses Daisy. We call the key the "map" We found the wrappers confusing even when we thought we knew what we were looking for

I often find those push and screw (if you pardon the expression ) lids on bleach etc, impossible to open, and those plastic seals on the milk bottles too!
                Grumpy? Us? Never!!

Thanks Libra, for letting me know.

I agree about the Roses and the plastic seal on milk bottles.

What I hate is my daily medication,it used to have a foil backing which you could just push the tablet through, then they changed it to a paper type backing, a nightmare to get one out.

Libra mine have that a white paper that is impossible to push tablet through , I have to cut it with my nail but if I have cut my nails I have to use a pointy knife , not exactly safe is it
