Dropped the girls at ballet and the road it's on is where youngest DD once lived,it's quite a narrow road and parking has always been troublesome. Today a guy had parked his car slap bang in the middle,not sat in it but had obviously gone into his/someone's house and just left it there.I couldn't go one way and a woman coming the other way couldn't move either.We both beeped our horns to try and get attention and out comes this big black guy (not allowed to say coloured anymore) and I remarked it was a silly thing to do blocking the road. He said "do you want me to come over there" to which I replied I beg your pardon are you threatening me. He then said just don't p**s me off. I said please come over I will enjoy seeing you explain to the police why you abandoned your car in the middle of the road effectively blocking it for other road users,and then threatening a woman of 63. Nasty piece of work,but I wasn't going to let him think I was intimidated, although after I was shaking like a jelly. Wish now Id remembered his number plate.

That's shocking Libra did you have the children in the car too, didn't the other person say anything! It is upsetting because you don't think before you speak you are so mad and we don't think of the consequences till afterwards but what goes around comes around .

What a horrible person he sounds Libra,why do some people think they own the Road to be honest I would have said the same as you did as I don't take intimidation well and my "Liverpool" mouth comes into operation,all the upset when a simple apology would have sufficed.Hope you have recovered from the nastiness.

I am a bit more cautious now. OH told some boys to stop vandalising some cars on a garage forecourt. They turned on him and punched him several times cutting his eyebrow. One calling to another "Have you got your knife?". At this point a car pulled up and a gang of boys got out saying "Why are you beating up an old man" - think OH was more outraged by that comment than the battering! The second lot of boys then set upon the first lot and OH made his escape. OH had taken the dog for a walk but the dog thought it was a game and was bouncing about between the yobs and OH trying to join in. I was very shocked when OH banged on the door to be let in - blood all down the side of his face! We were going to phone the police and then realised that the second lot of boys would probably end up in trouble as well so thought better of it. There are some very angry and violent people out there!

My brother was bumped in his car by another driver on Monday. When they both pulled over the offender went crazy. My brother's friend ended up getting the police, as he was taking pics with his mobile & the man knocked it out of his hand & it smashed on the ground...two police cars & police van turned up. Man arrested & put in van. Then on Wednesday I asked a boy (about 11) to watch where he was kicking the leather football in the park with his mates as it came out of the enclosure, it came out again and nearly hit my GS...an inch from his face. Lucky it missed the baby too. I was cross & said so, as it went with such force & the boy just answered me back with a very nasty tongue. Where's the respect?

The trouble is that despite all the evidence to hand this nasty man knows that very little will be done! If there are no consequences for such violent behaviour it will keep on happening.
