On Christmas Eve twin were with us and they managed to break their spacer for their inhalers. So OH popped down to Boots to ask if he could buy one they said no try Amazon!!!!!!!! He went to an independent chemist and bought one. So many things wrong with this. We are told not to go to A and E and go to our pharmacist and that happens, both boys have been using inhalers as have had very bad chests and was prescribed by their GP, and why on earth say go to Amazon apart from anything else it was Christmas Eve! I have complained and they 'looking' into it!

I live in a large village. Our village and the smaller one along the road both had independent chemists. Both are now small branches of Boots.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Same here sadly. Our local chemist was excellent with a really caring pharmacist but sold out to Boots along with every other local chemist. Succession of different pharmacists and staff who aren't there long enough to get to know their customers. Very little is kept in stock and almost always a wait for at least one of my items.xx
