    Saturday evening of Rememberance

Did anyone watch it I always cry most of the way through always when they interview the widows, I also saw Pixie Lott and Rod Stewart sniggering and laughing during the hymns that were sung I was shocked at their lack of respect it was appalling. How sad that Rod had several wives and these widows have lost the love of their life, the gentleman who was also blinded during the more recent conflicts at the age of 19 probably not even Pixie Lotts age now, what a display to put on for our younger people to see how to behave at such a sad ocassion shame on them

we went to the one around here. All the military and police in their white uniforms and swords etc. I have to say us Brits did ourselves proud andthe presence was very much appreciated by the locals, the military and the government officials. I saw the pictures in on line reports of the giggling and I personally think that Rod Stewart should have been the grown up set an example.

They shouldn't have attended if that was their attitude.

Querty it is the bit when the poppies fall on the young service men and women, that brings tears to my eyes. Do not know what Rod Stewart and Pixie Lott were doing there.

Same here. Didn't know why Rod Stewart and Pixie Lott were there to start with, why are they trying to modernise the ceremony/? And when they were seen laughing, well, that said it all.

Total lack of respect in my opinion who does this man think he is,I always fill up as soon as I hear the bagpipes always have done,I think of my son's friends who never came home those boys who stayed with us when they where training and they travelled all over the Country to stay at different friends houses I often wonder how those parents who lost their boys cope with the loss, then to see "Tony Blair" at the Cenotaph on Sunday really added insult to injury.

So moving. Seems as tho the ignorant 'celebrities' didn't get away with it. They got some very bad press...& so they should!
