    Well Done to Wilko!

    Praise for Wilko!

All their wipes are plastic free. I got Tesco and Sainsburys own and Dettol ones on deliveries during the Lockdowns and none are plastic free. Some have reduced their plastic but it's still there.

I stocked up on wipes at Wilko yesterday and bought a (cardboard) box of no plastic cotton buds.
Whilst in the store I heard a taped announcement over the tannoy telling us that we can bring our used disposable masks to Wilko, rather than throwing them away, and they will be recycled.

I feel they are really doing their bit at Wilko, and great prices, so well done to them

I have always bought their Lemon wipes , but I do occasionally buy Aldi's if I cant get to Wilko ,
I think most will start to produce them soon they all seem to be trying to reduce plastic

      Well done to Wilko, Gem.

I'd definitely be visiting there if we had one nearby. Our nearest is Southampton, 10 miles away.

We have a two floor Wilco which I always visit when in town. I think of it as replacing good old Woolworths in their range and prices. Ours even has a cafe which is handy for a quick coffee if I have time to kill before catching the bus home as it is right next door to the bus station.

Clover - it was so sad when Woolworths closed, wasn't it. I wish we had a Wilko within easy reach of us.

My mum and I often went to Wilko's cafe when we used to go shopping together Clover.

                    I like Wilko's.
When we go to Sheffield shopping, their Wilko's has a cafe upstairs.
The cafe doesn't belong to Wilko's,they rent out the space.
First time we went,we ordered a meal, the lady behind the counter asked is that at pensioners rate.
                    Well what could we say.

Nanto - how lovely that she had to ask. Was the meal good?
