On February 13th I ordered a TV unit , Coffee Table and side tables ,
TV unit came within 5 days , they said Coffee table and Side tables would take about 10-12 weeks ,
A long wait but as I didn't want to get my new Carpet till this month I thought I could wait .

I have not heard anything so I Emailed today for a progress update ,
They came back with they knew they were low in stock and that they don't expect a shipment in till 17th July making it 22 weeks ,
Even then there is no guarantee my order will be on it .

No one had the decency to inform me ,
I wasn't happy and told them I want to cancel and my money refunded
Another email saying they will sort that out , I will give them a week

Now the search for replacements but they will not match my TV unit

Common courtesy to let customers know when there is a problem.
You might be able to find some replacements that closely match.

Oma, I hope you get what you ordered, not a nice way to treat customers, a little like my steps.

Gem its the fact they had known when they took my order and money that they wouldn't be getting the shipment till July that angered me and that they didn't mention it or contact me as the delivery day drew near

Looked on Trust Pilot and its happened to several people , one man has been waiting for a dinning table since October last year
I certainly wouldn't wait that long .

Once I receive my refund a bad review will go on .
Wouldn't care but the actual depot is only in Durham so about 40 minutes from us

Plant - they should still give a realistic delivery date and stick to it though.

If I'm worried about delivery dates I sign the order form and add "time is of the essence for the supply of these goods" or something similar. I know that might not be possible if you're ordering online, and it's of no use to Oma now, but I've found it works.

This is really bad customer service Oma what a performance I would tell them to collect the TV table as well as you certainly don't want mis-matched furniture and having to make do so to speak.Do they not have display models for you and give them to you at a discounted price.

I saw the title and groaned. DS and DiL ordered stuff from them and it proved to have woodworm. Live woodworm too which infected the wood in the rest of the house. V long story to sort it out and most unsatisfactory. Check it carefully when it does turn up.

Sum1 - that's a real horror story. It sounds as though it was very stressful.
