    M&S refused my review!

I often submit reviews for goods I have bought, usually positive, but sometimes we have to say when we are not satisfied.
M&S asked me to review this product, but now won't publish it as it doesn't meet their guidelines! I'm not happy.

I think I was very fair as I gave them 4 out of 5 stars only removing one due to the reasons below.

So, at least you can all read it here!
Good food, not so good delivery
Trying to cut down on our supermarket Click and Collect orders, we decided to order an M&S Fruit, Veg and Salad box between orders, knowing M&S produce to be good. The produce was indeed very good. All of it fresh and good quality. Lovely.
However we will not be ordering again. When I placed the order we had no plans for the delivery day. Then we were invited to a friends garden for that afternoon. Having no idea of the delivery time apart from between 7 am and 7pm, I tried to move my order to another day. I then realised that no changes can be made after 30 minutes of placing the order! The information given was that a two hour window would be given on the morning of the delivery day. Nothing arrived, neither text nor veg box by 2pm. We set off for our friends house. As rain was forecast we left a note on the front door asking for the box to be put inside the back shed, and note removed from the door and left with it (so as not to alert to all we were out) We arrived back at around 6.30. Note still on door, box just outside back door, not in shed. Also although arrows and words clearly stated which way the box was to be laid, it was on it's side!
So, we wont be paying a few pounds to have food delivered in this haphazard way I'm afraid.

It's shocking when they won't take perfect reviews ,
i once had Smeg ask me to remove my bad review on their kettle and they would send a £10 voucher I declined , luckily it was on a review site they had no control over so they couldn't remove it

Gem, i think that was a very fair review.
Obviously, they only want reviews that show them in a shining light.
There wasn't anything nasty in your review, you were just being honest.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem - Oma's idea is good. I once needed to complain about a dreadful returns policy (not M&S, I hasten to add) and I couldn't even find an email address or phone number for the company, so I put it on their FB page. I got a very rapid response. Good luck!

I really don't think companies should be able to delete fair reviews they don't like. There's no point in having reviews if they can be manipulated like that.

Try Twitter - they can’t remove that. Take a photo of the review, post that and put a comment above. They generally jump then as it’s very public.

Not good PR at all but playing devil’s advocate perhaps it was a wee bit long?. If so they should have told you and suggested you condense it a bit

I am having a problem with Superdrug, I ordered two hair sprays and 2 hair mousse, I received 1 hair spray and one mousse in one box and an electric toothbrush and 2 sun screens in another. They seem to think I am going to the post office and return the unwanted items at my expense. After several emails I still have the items I didn't order. They did send me the items missing from my order.

They sent me this email today

                      Hello .........

Thank you for taking the time to review our M&S Seasonal Fruit, Vegetable & Salad Food Box

I am so sorry to hear how your food box was delivered i can imagine how disappointed you were. I've let our delivery team know what’s happened so they can have a look into what went wrong and try to stop it from happening again.

I understand it is disappointing that this was not published and appreciate you wanting to know why.

I want to reassure you that we do not reject negative reviews but, we do have a couple of rules when it comes to writing them. These are:

                      · Reviews should be about products and nothing else -for example, not service

                      · We may also refuse to publish reviews that contain any wording that could be viewed as offensive For help with this, read our frequently asked questions here

I hope this helps answer your query and thank you for getting in touch.

                      Kind regards

... which is a tad annoying, as I did positively review their product, but wanted to warn others of the unreliable delivery system and inflexible dates!

No way should be you going out to return products you didn't order Plant. As far as I know, it is the duty of the company who send you items you didn't order to collect them. Usually they just write them off and let you keep them, unless very valuable.

A super store here advertised, by mistake, imacs for the price of €2!!! A very huge mistake, a few people ordered them and they were delivered, one man ordered 3 for his business and refuses to return them as by delivering them the sale went through, he is taking them to court, I do wonder what will happen, I wish I had seen them for that price!!!
