    Hermes

As my youngest grandson, aged 3, is now too big for the car seat, he will graduate to the one I have been using for his sister and his cousin. I ordered, from Smyths Toys, a booster seat which is just the seat, for the older 2 to use. Free delivery.
I had email updates telling me that Hermes would be delivering it to me.
It arrived yesterday in a massive cardboard box, which the cats enjoyed.
The delivery man, standing on my doorstep in the rain, pointed out that the address on the box was simply my house number and postcode!
As I have ordered from Smyths before (though possibly Click and Collect) they had my address so I simply ticked 'Use Saved Address'.
When I later checked, the saved address was simply house number and postcode!! I have corrected that on my account now in case I need a future delivery.
I congratulated the poor wet man on finding me!

Pleased you received the parcel. Cats love a cardboard box don't they.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well done, that poor delivery driver. It's no fun searching for the right address in the rain.

My OH uses myHermes for parcel delivery and courier and has always found them very good, and much cheaper than Royal Mail.

I have most of my deliveries via Hermes and the guy who is the driver is so good at what he does,he alwaysleaves a card if I am not in with his mobile and if he is still in the area he will drop off for me,we have an outside binstore with a lift up lid ( homebase) and I will leave stuff in there for him to collect if I am sending something back so I dont have to worry about missing him.
Its such a shame that Hermes gets such alot of bad media press from the likes of ebay etc as I find them very good indeed,as you say Gems they are on the ball when it comes to finding addresses.
Just waiting for my delivery from Next to pack in my case for Tuesday I only ordered yesterday and received email that it will be delivered between 12noon-2pm good service or what.
