I know not all of you use FB but those that do will know on a regular basis you will get a message saying don't accept this one or that one as a friend as they are Hackers

The latest one is called Fabrizio Brambilla

I never pass these messages on as they are NEVER true ,
I always go to Hoax Slayer where they tell you all the hoax's that are untrue ,
I have yet to come across one that is true EVER .

What people get by posting these silly things are beyond me , I know a lot of people send them just in case but just research them first saves other people constantly getting these annoying messages

I haven't so far had these hackers posting on my FB page. I do get friends sending me posts that they want me to pass on, they are harmless posts but I do not do chain mail.

They don't post Plant it's like a chain letter sent by friends telling you there is a hacker and to pass the message on , I never do

Going back to the original thread here Oma, it makes me angry too with some of the stuff posted on Fbk. I never never never post "Amen"😠 Daisy I'm feeling the same way as you too.

Another thing is that you can be quite happy scrolling down when up pops an image of a starving abused dog etc which I find upsetting. I am actually thinking about coming off it but would miss Granny Support, YWP & Canon Hall Farm news. I also belong to a group who share their pics of the Wildlife Park. Some are stunners.

I just wish these scammers would find something better to do with their time.

I have taken it upon myself not to look at FB very much, its just something personal to me. As for all these, share this with your friends or the whole world will come to an end type of hysteria, really annoys me. My sister in law passes so many of these type of things even though I have messaged her so many times that they are a hoax and I refuse to pass anything on to others but still, she shares them with me.

You just have to ignore these Pass It On messages, and keep hiding and blocking things you don't like (or even people!)

DD2 told me that a lot of the posts on FB are purely Click bait. It’s somehow linked with the chance to make money if they get enough likes.

Also seems odd when someone announces very sad news and everyone clicks “like”.

I only use FB now to keep in touch with some of my crafting friends and my Family History Group. Also I use the message facility if I need to get in touch. Otherwise, I very rarely post anything now and I’ve noticed that the rest of the family are the same especially DGD and DGS.

I detest FB having had some unpleasant experiences and I do find it takes away the people you knew , and when not on it we miss out

I like FB you just have to be careful about personal stuff and not get caught up with anything nasty , if I don't agree with some people I just let it go and if it gets too bad you can delete them from your friends list ,
Bigots, Religious fanatics who constantly spout the bible and anything political, is a no no with me
We all have our rights I just choose not to have it pushed onto me so I ignore it , Same with silly people airing their dirty laundry on there , don't get involved
