    Liners for slow cookers.

Don't know if you ladies know or not,but you can get liners for slow cookers,i never use mine without a liner.
Sometimes, when the cooker has been on for quite a few hours, food can stick to the ceramic pot.
Using a liner makes washing it a very easy task, and i'm all for making life easier.
They sell them on Amazon ,Ebay. I always pick up a couple of packswhen we go to the garden centre.
I've also been told they sell the in Aldi, but i don't shop there, so not 100% sure.
And, they don't taint the taste of the food.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Well, I’ve never heard of that! What are they made off? I will look out for them.

Enfys, they are a like the roasting bags you can get for in the oven, but you can't use them in an ordinary oven.

Many thanks, Nanto - that sounds brilliant - I always have to leave the ceramic pot in soak for ages because I think it would scratch if I scoured it!

That is a good idea Nanto2. Anything to make life easier.

Well, never knew that, son has my slowooker atm, must look out for them. Whilst we are on the subject of slow cookers, how do you slow cooker owners thicken your casseroles?

Plant, about ½ an hour before i want to serve the meal, i stir in some

Leave the lid off the cooker, and it thickens up. If i don't have any granules i use cornflour.

I have some of those, must remember to use that. I am not keen on a shiny gravy so don't use cornflour or cornflour based thickeners.
