Autumn

Do you think Autumn is coming early this year ?
Today I noticed the trees are turning Red and Orange and the leaves are dropping , we have lots in the garden that seem to have dropped over night .
This seems very early I didn't expect this till at least October.

Haven't noticed it around here the beech trees are still green, of course the poor horse chestnuts have a disease so the leaves turn brown very early and drop off. I do hope we have a fair bit of summer left to enjoy the outside.

We have hawthorn trees at the end of our garden and the berries are turning red all over them.There has also been quite a heavy dew on the grass for a few mornings.I certainly feel a touch of Autumn in the air.

We noticed a few of the sycamore trees' leaves are turning yellowish, in fact a few were already on the ground. . Also the amount of spiders I have had to chase from inside makes me wonder are they all heading for my place ? Are they anticipating a nasty autumn ?
On the news headlines this morning it states that we are going to have a very hot , sunny September.... weren't we told that about summer back in March/ April time ..... Why bother to predict such things when the weather is never correct from one day to another

Not for me lol I so welcome the cooler weather at the moment it's been 36 deg at times on holiday too much for me but I will probably be having a moan I'm cold in a couple of weeks 😏

The leaves have come down thick and fast overnight , our drive is covered and we went out this morning and the roads are covered in leaves ,
