Kitchen doors

Well it was just as well we were in today as a huge lorry turned up with all the kitchen cupboard doors , end panels , kick boards etc,
No notice of delivery no phone calls,
Well we had already taken delivery of my new sideboard this morning
It's still in it's packaging in the dinning room along with the new oven hob and extractor hood,
Now we have a extra 13 very large boxes in there as well ,
The kick boards and plinths are in the sitting room , they are to long to go anywhere else,

B phoned the fitter he is hoping to get out on Friday ,
I must admit I'm getting sick of the mess now and regret doing this.

I know it will all be sorted by next week and will look nice but lord the mess 🙄

I know what you mean Oma, I'm not looking forward to the mess when thay start on the bathroom next week.
It doesn't bother hubby though.

I feel it's been going on forever ,
The floor took 5 days what with having to have it all screeded to level it then the actually floor strips to go down ,
Then waiting for these doors to arrive and decorating the kitchen and dinning room in between times
Plus not feeling well for a while it's just been too much ,
But it's almost done now 😁

Nanto and Oma, I feel for you both. This might be a massive over-generalisation, but I don't think it bothers most men. Maybe it's because we're usually the ones to clear up and keep on top of mess.

Keep your sights set on the lovely new kitchen/bathroom you will have.

Oma, you have a lot going on besides the kitchen (and a new sideboard), with your MIL's needs and your and B's health.

Another lorry turned up today with another 3 boxes
I opened the door and he said our name,I said we not expecting anything ,he said did they not tell you yesterday there was another 3 boxes on its way ,
No they didn't 😱
