    Christmas storage

We have decided to buy a free standing wardrobe for our spare room to store the Christmas decorations in,
This will save hauling boxes out and back into the loft every year.
We are getting to old for that and it's heavy work,

We have plenty of room for a wardrobe in the spare room ,
I have fitted wardrobes across one wall and only a single bed in there with a side table ,
It will go on the wall as you come into the room so won't be in the way.
I have seen a three door one in IKEA that would do and I may even if we pack it right get the Xmas tree in there in it's bag.
I will go through all my decorations as I have many that do not get used .

GS said he will have them and put them in DDs loft till he needs them.
( I can't see him leaving home anytime soon ) But if that's what he wants he can have them.
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma that's a really good idea.
    .
We used to store all our Christmas stuff in the loft. The last two years I started keeping some of the heavier stuff back and putting it in a cupboard in one of the bedrooms. There is still a lot stored in the loft. If I get rid of a lot of clothes we could probably keep all the Christmas things in a cupboard. I have a ridiculous amount of wardrobe space in two bedrooms

I agree, it's a very good idea. We need to do some major decluttering though (for "we" read OH!)
