    Ironing

Now I’ve said it before but Ironing is a job I hate,
But is there something you hate ironing ?

Today I stood ironing and wanted to scream.
B has a pair of Grey dress trousers that I bought him a few years ago , I loved them at the time and don’t get me wrong they look lovely on But…

OMG if I have to iron them one more time I will be taken away in a straight jacket😱

He loves these trousers but I’m not kidding every time I wash and iron there they are 😠

He has dozens of pairs of trousers but to see him you would think he only had these.

I have tried hiding them amongst his other ones pushing them to the back I have even left them in the ironing basket but he will drag them out and iron them himself if he has to.

If I could turn back time I wouldn’t have bought them.
I long for the day they wear out but despite all the washing they still in good condition.

If nothing else a job I hate gets done quickly as I take my temper out of the rest 🙄😁

I don't iron. OH does it

I really enjoyed ironing my DD's clothes as babies and children.

I hate all adult ironing , but men's shirts are my most disliked item to iron, and the girls school shirts as teenagers.

Oma, you and me too. Despite the fact that I've always got a pile of ironing nagging at me, once I get started I don't mind. Except for OH's cargo pants (with more pockets than a poacher could need) and a couple of particularly evil shirts. Every time I see any of these items in the laundry bin my heart sinks. Funnily enough I don't think about the ironing when he's wearing these monster clothes, but I have an ongoing struggle between "good" me - do them first, get them out of the way - and "bad" me - leave them till the end and put off the evil hour!

My DILs laugh at my tea towel habit though! White linen union with coloured stripes down each side. They get spot cleaned, soaked in Vanish powder, washed, line dried, ironed and folded neatly!!! I've tried taking short cuts with them, but it leaves me feeling slovenly and on edge. What a saddo I am.

Oma, I'm always longing to iron all the clothes in GS3's bag when he's here! All clean but never seen an iron

I don't mind ironing, I ironed for friends for 20 years, since they moved house the DH tells his dear wife that his shirts have never been the same since! I even got them a machine for sheets etc, she still uses it as well, I worked at the charity shop at the time, must be 16 years ago, she mentioned she would love one for the sheets, I walked into the shop one morning and there it was waiting for me to buy it! To this day neither of us can understand how I got it in the car or how they got it up the stairs as it is very heavy.

I don't mind ironing. I iron in the kitchen and usually put the tv on.
If i had to pick something i don't really like ironing,it would be shirts.
Hubby always says don't bother ironing my things, but thats not happening.
When i was the kitchen towels and t-towels, i always iron them.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
