    Little drop

A few month ago I had to throw some new potatoes out that had started to sprout .
for fun I popped one into a spare plant pot to see what would happen .
Well I got a lot of green growth but didn't think I would get anything ,

This morning I went out and pulled it out and I was surprised at the title crop I got , Al from one tiny new potato

Oma - I bet they will be delicious! You can't beat new potatoes that are as new as those!

I put some sprouting ones in one of those potato grow bag thingies - perhaps it's time to see if I've got a crop as well!

We did too Lizzie! My dad grew potatoes and mint, so we just picked both from the garden

Once you have eaten home grown potatoes shop brought ones never seem to be as tasty .
I'm cooking a nice piece of lamb that will go nicely with those Oma, I've even got some mint in a pot on the patio . We have also just picked some runner beans from our mini veg patch .

Never had home grown potatoes since we had our allotment about 20 years ago .
B used to grow all our veg , I really didn't expect any crop and they are so clean too .

We may try them tonight . It's the little things in life that make me happy
I'm thinking of next year having a little patch I have a wall I could have one of those hanging gardens on with salad stuff and a few veg stuff , make the most of my tiny space go upwards may be the answer

I have a self seeded potato growing, just flowering. I hope there will be some lovely pots like yours when I dig it up.

Oma - glad you enjoyed them!

Plant - that's promising, if it's flowering. I think it's time I checked mine but don't want to do it too early.
