Lizzie - it's easily done, but I had to laugh. I'm glad you realised.

Gem - I often try to put the landline phone on the stand upside down! I think it takes some doing to get that so wrong!

I wonder what the girls would have said (thought) at the shop if I had taken it back?

Many years ago when IKEA first opened must be 20 years now , myself and DD went and bought Brass lights that went above pictures , I bought two for us and she bought some for her house .
When we got home and looked we had picked wrong colour up so took them back explained we wanted brass not coloured and the girl on the desk without saying a word peeled the protective Blue film off to reveal the Brass underneath

We were so embarrassed we couldn't talk for giggling and made a quick exit 😁😊😁
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Hahaha, Lizzie. I'm sure it would have made their day - although you probably wouldn't have been the first!

Silly my Oma, didn't realise you poked it in the bottom. I had a good laugh about the lamps.

Easily done Gemini and Lizzie but very funny.

We posted together, Oma. How funny - I'm glad you had a good giggle over a perfectly understandable mistake!

The best shop-related one for me was helping DS2 in the shop and someone came in with a roll of film (before digital) and asked how long the half-hour service took! Fortunately DIL was serving this lady, and she kept a very straight face and said "about 30 minutes"! The rest of us were doing our best to hide our smiles.
