Well done to your OH on installing it. Have you tried it yet?

Daisy we had to run it first with small amount of water and a little washing powder. We followed the instructions this evening, only to find it takes hours! OH managed to speed it up a bit but it still took a long time.
So, washing clothes in it begins tomorrow!

That's what we couldn't get our heads around Lizzie. Newer washers have long programmes as that apparently saves energy!
This one at least has a delay start button, so it is if a long programme we could put it on before bed and set the start to early morning so that when we get up it will be ready to hang out.

Lizzie - over 4 ½ hours! I'd never get through the washing, but as Gem says, I suppose you can put it on overnight. If I haven't got a full load I often use Fast Wash which takes an hour at 60C and 30 minutes at 30C, and I find that really useful.

I have only used it once with sheets etc! I use the fast wash most of the time, handy.

I have a fast wash on mine that I use for slightly soiled items. It's a 15min wash. Works well too.

I use the fast wash mainly on my machine. The clothes are never really dirty, most just need a bit of a freshen up. I use 30 degree wash mostly and 40 degrees for bedding and towels. I run a 90 degree wash occasionally, with nothing in the machine to give the machine a good clean out.

I have a fast wash, 15mins but I haven't used it, I will from now on, as you say clothes just need a freshen up.
