Washing machine recall

Just before Christmas there was a recall for some Hotpoint, Indesit, Creda washing machines as there was a fire risk with some machines. There was a list with the relevant serial numbers and ours was one of them, We have had a replacement machine. Now they have just released more serial numbers which are affected so it might be worth while, if you have one of these makes of machines, just checking.

Daisy, I know you checked yours when we did but might be worth having another look.

Not sure who made my washing machine, it is a John Lewis one.

Enfys - many thanks for the information - I didn't know they had listed even more. I'll check up tomorrow. I've just been talking to one of my SILs in North Wales and they received their replacement machine today.

I've checked the list again, and ours and my DIL2's are both ok. I treated it to a good clean today, taking out the soap drawer and giving it a good scrub out etc.
