Jasmine in my daughters front garden, snowdrops everywhere. Lots of lovely daffodils in my front garden.
Our neighbour across the road is a very hard working and proud gardener. He has hundreds of daffodils in his front garden. They come out later than ours, which is lovely as it extends our daffodil time“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I always feel more cheerful, hopeful and happy when there are definite signs of spring.

Gem - I had a lovely moment with GD2 on Monday. I was fastening her into her car seat and looking over my shoulder she could see flowers. she was really excited about a tree with pretty pink flowers on. When I looked I saw it was (I think) a flowering cherry, and she was fascinated by it. So we had a lovely chat about ornamental cherries and cherries for eating, which lead on to apple blossom as well.
I was so pleased she appreciated the wonder of these delicate little flowers growing on bare trees in the depths of winter.
