    Sofas

Well what a time choosing a Sofa ,
We visited 7 shops and narrowed it down to 2 with 3 sofas to choose from ,
First one I liked was a plain G plan one , then we both liked number 2 and B liked no 3 best

Went again yesterday morning came home talked about it and settled on the one B liked ,
Decided to go down at tea time to order it and have Tea in the little riverside pub across the road ,

On the way down I said as it was a recliner again ( I didn't want recliners but it didn't come without ) , had he tested the feet up ?
No he hadn't , so when we got there he tested it out only to discover when he had his feet up there was a hard bit right across where his calf would be ,
It was like a piece of wood with fabric on and no padding ,

So we were back to square one .

This morning we went back to look at the G plan one then a lovely one caught both our eyes so after testing , lying and sitting on it we ordered it , payed a deposit and came home
Had lunch and then I looked at it on line only to discover by the sizing it was much to big for our space ,

So off we went to cancel it and look at the two seater in it but that was two small

Guess what we bought the G plan in a creamy /oatmeal sort of colour , just what I wanted in the first place and in the colour I wanted

More expensive but I think it was fate and I was meant to have that one and it will fit perfect
7/8 weeks delivery but we in no hurry .

Oma, i hate looking for new furniture.
Always takes ages to decide which to get.
    We do get sorted eventually.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto its seeing what you like isn't it , a lot are corner units or these with the sort of lounge bit on the side , our living room isn't big enough for them sort

My taste is more traditional I like something that your not going to sink into and struggle out of

        It's really difficult choosing sofas!!
It sounds as though you have a decision now though Oma

I know what you mean about recliners. When choosing the 2 seater recliner sofa we bought at the end of last year we tried a lot before choosing the one we have. Many of them were uncomfortable on my ankle, no point reclining then being uncomfortable!.

We have always had recliners Gem but I really didn't want them again , I found they made my knees ache . I now have a low foot stool with my chair it's much better for me
At least the sofa we have ordered had the option of recliners or static so we went for static . 😀

Oma - I'm glad you've found the perfect sofa for you! It's a minefield - and that's is you both want the same thing! As you know we've just bought two new armchairs and a new sofa (still waiting for delivery!) and OH wanted an electric reclining chairs, manual recliner 3 seat sofa and leather. I wanted fabric, happy with manual recliner and 2 seat sofa which didn't recline. There was very little meeting of minds!!
