    Karcher question

For those of you in the know who have one of these.
Do they clean the upvc window frames as well as the glass??

I'm just being lazy LOL. It's very difficult for me to reach up to clean our inside bay window properly, even on a stepladder. I was hoping there was an easy way to clean glass and surrounds!

I use a soft sweeping brush and a bucket of soapy water to reach the high bits but only on the outsides , then hose it off and wrap a dry cloth around the head to wipe off , only way I can reach Inside I end up standing on window sill , not ideal though

Gem, sorry the Karcher doesn't clean the window frames.
            Brilliant on the glass though.

Gem - I have a similar problem trying to clean the Velux windows in our kitchen and dining room. Even on a ladder I can't reach, so I'm hoping someone will come along with a solution!

I deal with cobwebs and dust by tying a very thick absorbent duster on the end of the opening pole with a strong rubber band, but I haven't solved the washing the windows problem yet!

Maybe you could loan Daniel out to Daisy.

But would she give him back, Nanto2?

Yes, please, Grauntie. Daniel sounds like the answer to my prayers as well as my dirty Velux windows. Of course I'd give him back when the job was done <evil sniggers>

Don't trust Daisy, Grauntie, I am sure she has other plans for Daniel.

Has anyone used any other liquid detergent in their window vac . I've used all mine up and I don't know if its worth buying some more or just use white vinegar with a small dash of washing up liquid

I just use diluted washing up liquid but I suppose vinegar would be a good addition.
