Spring decorating

Is anyone doing any decorating to start the year?

As I have mentioned, our hallway, stairs and landing have been on the agenda for at least 3 years. I am fairly confident that it will be done this year. As OH is insistent we do it ourselves, it needs to be in the spring, before golf takes over totally!
Our bedroom needs a coat of paint, but as it is mostly fitted wardrobes and window and not a lot of wall, it is an easy job.

I am hoping to get my decorator booked to do my bedroom this year but the logistics are a bit of a worry. My place isn't that big and where will I put my clothes as I need to move the wardrobes out. Would love to have built-in ones.

Gem - after our major achievement of getting the hall, stairs and landing decorated, the next place on the list is my study. But before that we have still got to get a new rug for the hall and, hopefully, a new carpet for the stairs and landing. There's always something, isn't there!

After finishing our smallish hallway in December I was trying to get OH to do the bedroom (the wallpaper has been bought) but he convinced himself it would be better left until after New Year when all the Christmas parcels etc had been distributed so all I have to do is get him in a good mood and ask him when is he going to get a wriggle on.

Nothing needs doing this year although im thinking of changing the Bedding colour in our spare room so I may give it a quick lick of paint when I do that ,

Spare room is the next project we bought a Roman blind for it before Christmas , just need to get wallpaper for one wall and new bedding !!

When I eventually get my study done (I may end up doing it myself) I want to give it a make over as well. The two single beds take up a lot of room, so I'd like a bed where another one can slide under it, complete with bedding on. I've got a large built-in wardrobe that needs a big decluttering, and a bass drum (don't ask!) under the eaves. The desk and bookcase are fairly new so it would be nice to smarten up the rest of the room. As it's also a second guest room (usually for the GCs) it would be nice to make it look better.
