Sunshine - we didn't have time to go carpet hunting before Christmas, but hopefully we can have a day in Southampton soon and get that and a few other bits and pieces. As for the bookcase - that's on a slow burn! It will be refurbed - eventually. I need to get materials first then OH will be able to see what I've got in mind. At the moment he can't imagine it.
